Hey Obama! Who are your 8 Friends???

Thursday, November 29th, 2012

Eight nations voted with the United States in its attempt to deny the right of Palestinians to exist. Naturally one was Israel. But who were the other seven pathetic, bedraggled schlock of sycophantic stooges that Obama and Susan Rice cobbled together?

Here’s the complete list:
Marshall Islands
Czech Republic

Very impressive, Mr. President! Only one question. “Yo Canada!!! What are you thinking? Why do you want to be on the wrong side of history?”

Interestingly, the microscopic nation of Palau is also in lockstep with the United States when it comes to their common, repressive, minimum drinking age of 21. They are one of seven countries, including Kazakhstan and Pakistan, that still treats their adults like children. List of world drinking ages…

Obama warns Europe not to Recognize Palestinian Rights at U.N.

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012

It is becoming apparent that President Obama has been conspiring with Benjamin Netanyahu to destroy the human rights of Palestinians. According to sources, Obama’s co-conspirators have been openly colluding against the democratic process in the United Nations and implicitly supporting Israel’s historic policy of ethnic cleansing.

According to the Guardian, Obama has used American power to warn European nations not to recognize Palestinian rights at the United Nations. A private memo warns of “significant negative consequences” if the Palestinian Authority succeed in getting enhanced status. It is not clear how many, if any, European countries will be intimidated by such racist rhetoric.

Atlanta Jewish Times: “Israel should Murder Obama”

Saturday, January 14th, 2012

Atlanta’s weekly newspaper for Jews is recommending that the Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu should… “strike Hezbollah and Hamas, strike Iran, or “order a hit” on Barack Obama. Either way, problem solved!”

While this rhetoric might result in orange jump suits and gaol time for a Muslim, most likely Andrew Adler, the publisher, will be allowed to retain his freedom. This is because American Zionists are special people and enjoy a special place in American society. There is no such thing as a Jewish terrorist. Zionists are simply enthusiastic, fun-loving, freedom fighters.

The son of a Zionist terrorist, Emanuel Rahm, went from Obama’s Chief of Staff to Mayor of Chicago. Chicagoans don’t care that he’s the son of a Zionist terrorist. He’s a special person. And if Andrew Adler wants to assassinate Obama, Americans will understand. Israel is more important than America. Jews are more important than Muslims. And Israelis are more important than Arabs. They are special people.

Strategic Duplicity

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

Benjamin Netanyahu, the slippery old chess-player that he is, got the Israeli Government out of a bind with his speech at Bar-Ilan University. Netanyahu, squeezed between his racist, extreme right wing supporters and his dependence on the financial and military support of Obama’s American taxpayers, was in a tough situation; if he caved in to Obama on Palestinian statehood, he would lose support and potentially his government at home; if he continued his anti-Arab rhetoric, he could lose the support of Israel’s creator and protector, the United States.

Netanyahu scored points by going back to the tried and tested Israeli position: all Israelis are defenceless, Jewish victims and all Palestinians are terrorists. He kept Obama happy by offering the Palestinians a state. He kept his extremist supporters happy by offering the Palestinians a state without sovereignty. He focused on the need for Israeli security while failing to mention that he commands the fourth most powerful military in the world that is also nuclear armed.

Mr. Netanyahu successfully maintained Israels policy of strategic duplicity. Israel plays the long game. US presidents come and go. Peace processes come and go. New, artificial obstacles are created. Various “crises” arise and need to be “fixed”. All the time, the West Bank settlement expansion and road construction move ahead, steadily, relentlessly. This is not a game that a softy like Obama can win in eight years. This is a game for hardmen with strong nerves and time on their side.

Obama U-Turn on American Abuse

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

usa-war-crimesIn a policy shift that has surprised and disappointed many observers, President Obama has decided to fight publication of a new set of photos showing American torture activities in Abu Graihb prison, Iraq. It is not clear why Obama would choose to whitewash Bush era war crimes.

He now finds himself in a legal battle with the American Civil Liberties Union who have taken the issue to the courts to get full disclosure. As the first black president, it is ironic that Obama should pick a conflict with the ACLU, a group so influential in the civil ri so early in his tenure. Not only has Obama’s promise of a transparent government been tainted, but he is also open to charges of “flip-flopping” from Republicans.

USA backs Turkey for EU

Monday, April 6th, 2009

obamaIn an embarrassing demonstration of American geographical knowledge, President Barack Obama today backed Turkey’s accession to the European Union. Apparently, Mr. Obama isn’t aware that Turkey is not on the European continent. Apparently, Mr. Obama is not aware that the U.S. is not on the European continent.

In other developments, the French President, Mr. Sarkozy, is pushing for Iran’s membership of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Association. Also, Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, is lobbying for Barack Obama’s admission to the Bolshoi ballet.

“Irrational hatred of Israel”

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

Attempts to save Israel from destruction by Charles W. Freeman Jr., an expert on the Middle East have ended in abject failure. As soon as lawmakers in the generous pocket of AIPAC found out about some of his comments he was rightly cut down to size. Mr. Freeman, a former ambassador to Saudi Arabia had been due to accept a top intelligence post in the new administration.

Here’s a couple of his statements.

“left to its own devices, the Israeli establishment will make decisions that harm Israelis, threaten all associated with them and enrage those who are not.”

“Israel is driving itself toward a cliff, and it is irresponsible not to question Israeli policy and to decide what is best for the American people.”

We, at UN242, support the Obama administration’s view that there should be no discussion of Israel’s right to bomb civilians, to break the bones of teenagers, or to use American-made missiles to target old men in wheelchairs. We fully support the state’s use of torture, the occupation of Arab land and the right of all Israelis to act like aggressive, hateful bigots. We encourage all Israelis to continue to blame their victims, deny verified civilian massacres, and cast aspersions about peaceful international organisations such as the Red Cross.

The financial crisis has resulted in the loss of some of our key sponsors. AIPAC, do you think you might give us a small grant? For 250,000 Shekels, the UN242 newdesk could produce 6 months of propaganda favourable to Israel. This must surely be a better deal than you’re getting from CNN.
