The United Kingdom is to pay the family of a Libyan dissident more than 2 million pounds for their illegal “rendition” from Hong Kong. Sami al-Saadi, his wife and four children were abducted and forced onto a plane to Libya. The British Government has previously claimed to have had no knowledge of American or British involvement in the illegal kidnapping of Muslims for torture in another country. It now appears that Britain has been conspiring with the United States for years and is acknowledging as much with this payment.
Tony Blair was Prime Minister of the U.K. in 2004 when this crime was committed. He was also responsible for providing valuable political and military support to President George W. Bush during his illegal, tragic invasion of Iraq. To date, he has not been indicted by the International Court of Justice. Blair is earning millions of pounds a year. He uses a complex network of shell companies, including Windrush Ventures in order to pay a negligible amount of tax to the UK authorities.
